The mid-20s can be tough when life suddenly picks up speed. The challenges that come your way can quickly become overwhelming, you reach your own limits, and you often enough get bogged down. The mid-20s - a time of awakening, of shaping one's own self, but also of reflection with old thought patterns of the parental home, one's own behavior patterns, childhood, and future. Often dissatisfied and uncertain with his own life situation, the recurring patterns, and his own mental limits, the singer Sweed sings "I'm stuck in the same circle for years now and nothing has changed" in his music video in the Algarve in sunny weather and upbeat indie sound out to sea.

The Inspiration

“Join the Sweedlife” refers to this very time, the mid-20s. A "sweedlife" that stands for an escape from your everyday chaos. You come together with your friends and set aside life for once. A moment of peace in which you revel, each person for himself in his thoughts and in shared silence.

The motif is a still image of four people on a picnic blanket on the beach. Blinded and weighed by the sun, the individuals are in their own thoughts, yet sociable and in good company.

The acoustic elements in the song "Stuck" portray an analog yet modern character, which is represented in the motif. A snapshot, which remains timeless, as well as the theme that is addressed.
